Who are we? Promoters and Partners
ExpoGelato is a project that has gathered all the main protagonists of institutions, the companies that turned the supply chain of artisanal gelato into a flagship for the sector, the experts who spread the culture and history of this food and its representatives, putting them in dialogue with the skills of communication and with the creativity of design and architecture. The result is a network that brought out the best of artisanal gelato, from all points of view, and that was able to give value to the territory:
Chamber of Commerce Industry Craftsmanship and Agriculture of Bergamo
Main protagonist of the local economy system, the Chamber of Commerce Industry Craftsmanship and Agriculture of Bergamo is an important reference point for the productive sectors in the territory. The Chamber of Commerce of Bergamo promotes ExpoGelato because it recognizes, in this event, an occasion to promote the territory through the Bergamo companies involved in the gelato supply chain.
Marketing+39 is the result of the idea of a group of professionals and creatives, all operating in different marketing areas. Always attentive to the new market trends, and to innovation of thought and technology, ExpoGelato 2015 summarizes the ambition of Mareting+39 to bring dynamism, valuable experiences and new inspirations for the territory by promoting a local and yet international event.
Comitato Gelatieri Bergamaschi
The Committee promotes ExpoGelato through an extremely important collaboration. During the entire event, it will be involved in the management of the Lab, the area dedicated to let everyone – operators, business target and audience – know about the goodness and richness of artisanal gelato, through workshops and dedicated events.
Banca Popolare di Bergamo
Established in 1869, Banca Popolare di Bergamo is since 2007 part of UBI Group (Union of Italian Banks), today third commercial banking group by market capitalization. Banca Popolare di Bergamo has, since the beginning, believed in the ExpoGelato project, providing the ancient Cloister of Santa Marta – c/o its headquarters in Piazza Vittorio Veneto – to host the exhibition of gelato supply chain.
Università degli Studi di Bergamo
The University of Bergamo has put at disposal of the event its students from the faculties of Foreign Languages, Economics and Communication Sciences: thanks to an agreement with ExpoGelato, the students will become real guides. Inside the Cloister of Santa Marta, the young university students will in fact welcome the guests and guide them under the ancient arcades, to discover the history of artisanal gelato and its supply chain.
SIGEP, International Exhibition of artisanal gelato, pastry and bakery (Rimini Fair)
For 36 years the Rimini Fair has been offering SIGEP, the huge international B2B event historically dedicated to the supply chain of artisanal gelato, pastry and bakery. The last edition, held in January 2015, has registered an unprecedented success: 187,233 visitors, thanks to a rich display representing 100% of the supply chain (about 1000 companies on 100,000 square meters).
Comune di Bergamo
The City od Bergamo has seen, in ExpoGelato, the opportunity to valorize its territory and make Bergamo a center of attraction for tourists heading to Expo. The City Council has therefore made available all the public spaces involved in the event.
