Bergamo incontra Quèbec

INGREDIENTS:

  • Pancèta de la Bergamasca
Bergamo incontra Quebec” comes from a mix of sweet&savory flavors. For the sweet part, we use maple syrup, a typical Quebec product. For the savory parts we use the Pancèta de la Bergamasca (Bergamo bacon), which is caramelized and then combined with the maple syrup-flavored gelato.

La Sciura Maria

  INGREDIENTS:
  • Caprino cheese
  • Carrot jam
  • Pears
  • Cinnamon
La Sciura Maria” comes from a mix of caprino cheese, produced by Miss Maria’s goats, and the flavor of carrots and caramelized pears. For the seasoning, we add a touch of cinnamon.

La Turta del Donizèt

INGREDIENTS:
  • Cream
  • Vanilla
  • Pineapple
  • Apricots
Legend has that Rossini had a cake prepared for his friend Donizetti, who was at that time heartbroken for an unhappy love story. Donizetti loved the cake so much that he gave his name to it. In honor of this cake we created the flavor “La Turta del Donizèt”, a gelato based on cream with a touch of vanilla, with the addition of pineapple aroma and candied apricots.

Le Bufale e i Lamponi

INGREDIENTS:
  • Yogurt
  • Raspberries
Le Bufale e i Lamponi” takes its name from the particular combination of a yogurt made of buffalo milk and the sweetness of raspberries.  

Vicini & Lontani

INGREDIENTS:
  • Formai de Mùt cheese, aged 24 months
  • Pear mostarda
Vicini & Lontani” is the combination of products typical of the Bergamo territory that are “close and far” the one from the other. For the “high” part we use the kind of cheeses: Formai de Mùt aged 24 months. For the “low” part we pick the mostarda. The base of this gelato is created with cream and flakes of Formai de Mùt, and the result is seasoned with pear mostarda.
